Plumpang Oil Depot Fire Increasing - Kompas →
The newspaper site was reporting the fire reached as high as 100 meters. The residents could also hear loud explosions. Surround residents were spotted spraying their roofs with water. The Plumpang oil depot was first hit on tank #24. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but terrorist attack was suspected. The governor of Jakarta was on site to calm the residents.

My mother-in-law just called me this morning about this. It’s happening near by her house in Kelapa Gading. Fire like this can go out of control. I sure hope they get this contained quickly. My prayers are with my extended family.
